I've recently developed an intense interest in dholes, which once roamed throughout all of Eurasia during the Pleistocene. They are now limited to central and southern Asia.
Dhole fossils have been found alongside grey wolf ones, and it is thought that it was competition with wolves that lead to their extinction. Nevertheless, the two still live side by side in India. There aren't may accounts of them interacting, though there was an interesting article back in 2013 of a wolf being adopted by two dholes. I thought I'd depict the same relationship here, but in a European Ice Age context.
